The Last Unicorn was my favorite childhood movie. I watched it so much that the tracking on the VHS is now horrible so I had to buy the DVD. I have to say my favorite scene is when Molly first sees the Unicorn. I cry every time I watch it and often turn the movie on just to watch that scene! There is a lot of meaning for me in her words:
Molly- "Where have you been? Where have you been? Damn you! Where have you been?"
Unicorn- "I'm here now."
Molly- (laughs) "And where were you twenty years ago? Ten years ago? Where were you when I was new? When I was one of those innocent young maidens you'd always come to. How dare you. How dare you come to me now! When I am this!"
